HEAR DEMO OF THE 50 WATT REPLICA BY KENNY.

KENNY SENT ME A LINK TO DOWNLOAD A YOUTUBE VIDEO OF HIS DEMONSTRATION OF THE AMP'S TONE. I CANNOT FIGURE OUT HOW TO CREATE A LINK TO IT, BUT HERE'S THE ADDRESS:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FJQ-dewo17k

Or search Youtube for Edgefield Amps, and look for the clip tittled:

This amp featured used but very strong Philips Mullard EL34 power tubes. The three 12AX7 tubes were new, premium grade Tung-Sol tubes. Killer tone.

Amp is epuiped with three 5O/50 MFD 500V German filter caps, wired in a five stage power supply arrangement.

Another view of the heart of this fine amp. Note the industrial strength BIAS control circuit.

There is a 3 Amp Main fuse and a 1/2 Amp power supply fuse. You also have a speaker impedance selector for 4, 8, or 16 Ohms. There is a main and external speaker jack. The main jack's switching lug runs to ground through a 470 Ohm 2 watt resistor to provide temporary protection to the output stage if you fire up the amp without connecting to a speaker load.

I built this one with a Mercury Magnetics Output Transformer, and you can really hear the difference! They are not cheap but well worth the investment.
